KOZOL WRITING – DUE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21 Main Point Summaries 60 points For each of chapters 1-6, identify and objectively summarize one of the main points Kozol makes
in that chapter. There are many points that Kozol makes in each chapter. Choose one and explain why Kozol thinks this is an important point. These summaries are about
what Kozol wants you to learn. They are not about your opinions of his material. You will lose points if you write about what you think of this book. We will discuss
this in class. Each summary should be approximately ½ page. Perspective Explanation 20 points Amazing Grace deals with several major crises beyond poverty. Identify
one of these other crises from chapters 1, 2, or 3 and explain it sociologically. This means you will use one of the two major Sociological Perspectives (Structural
Functional or Social Conflict) to explain the crisis. Remember that these will be macro explanations. This explanation should be approximately ½ page The Kozol Writing
