after getting all the information together, you should run a number of simulations, given plausible events, including an “as is”, and two different scenarios with different severity levels of catastrophes. It is completely up to you how many iterations you run, so if you want to change survival rates, or age structure or genetic composition – up to you – but you need to at least provide the 3 different scenarios, with graph outputs in the report and the calculations in the appendix. This is what you will also present at the seminars on 9th November. The presentations will be team presentations.

ii) the report should include a background, an “M&M” section which summarises the data sources and outlines what you did in Vortex, a result section and finally a discussion, which must include a management plan, followed by references and appendices. While I am anticipating that the data and analysis used in the report will be a team effort, the report and the management plan MUST be an individual effort.
