After engaging in some self-assessment regarding progress you have made with the targeted unit outcomes, summarize the results of your efforts in a Report on Work Plan. Save the document as U1_A5_lastname_firstname.doc and submit it to the Unit 1 Work Plan Report Dropbox by Week 8, Day 3.
If you used unit 1 of the Timeline Worksheet as your work plan for this unit, planning target dates for the unit objectives, you may also use it in your Work Plan Report, indicating the completion dates of the unit 1 objectives.

Note to Track 2 students: Those students enrolled in D9501 will earn a course grade at the end of this unit. See the D9501 Course Completion Form that chairs will use to assign grades and the AU Doctoral Dissertation Guide for additional grading information.

Week 1 Progress Report

Hello Dr. Melissa Weeding,
Effective today July 7, 2016, I have completed the Autobiography introducing myself to you by sharing a thumbnail autobiographical sketch of myself as well as posting both the first and second week of attendance in the Post Weekly Attendance forum. Also, I have already done a timeline that I will submit momentarily. The items I have yet to complete include my Prospectus, my Petition for Committee Members and my CITI Web-Based Training. I am currently working eagerly on completing my Prospectus and plan to make contact with you to discuss in more detail.

Hi Dr. Melissa Weeding,
As of today, July 7, 2016, I have read the Guide to the Doctoral Research Process that has given me much insight. The items still remaining and need my attention include the CITI Web-Based Training and my Prospectus. Again, I will definitely make contact with you today to make sure I am on the right path. Now that I am more familiar with the portal, I am able to better navigate and understand what’s due and when.

Hi Dr. Melissa Weeding,
As of today, July 17, 2016, I have read the the Description and Requirements, Academic Guidance and Policies, glanced at Student Resources, read About This Dissertation Course, Ethical Scholarship, Your Role and This Dissertation Course, posted attendance for the week and completed the CITI Training.

I also completed my Assignment 2 Prospectus and submitted it for review. I shot an email to determine where I obtain the Committee Petition.

As of today, July 25, 2016, I scheduled an appointment to meet with you in person to clarify items on my list of things to do and to discuss my Prospectus. I also started reading about Chapter 1 to start Assignment 5. I am unsure about the Committee Petition as well as well as the details of what each work plan should entail.
