Protocol analysis

Order Description

Part1 is introduction: Introduce the reader to the paper and explain why your protocol is important. (I will attach the hand hygiene protocol)
Address the following questions in the introduction to your report: 1) how easy/difficult was it to find the policy/procedure? (its easy to find, we went to the
hospital website then typed in “hand hygiene protocol” then we found it in the search result list) 2) did the RNs on the unit know where to find the written
policy/procedure? (they didn’t know at the beginning, then they tried to search the protocol on hospital’s website then found it.) 3) how was the policy/procedure
created/revised in your clinical setting of practice? Who revises protocols/procedures, how are they approved, how a re revisions disseminated to the staff? 4) is the
policy/procedure evidence based? what resources were used to create/revise the policy/procedure? Are the resources current and/or reputable? why or why not? (I will
attach the answer for question#3&4, its an email from a infection control nurse of the hospital, please just reword it. thank you )
Part 2 (the most important part): search for current evidence and best practices concerning your chosen policy/procedure. Include at least one article from each of the
following sources, you MUST review a total of 5 items(I already find 5 items for you, I will upload them): 1) 1 item from Cochrane center and Collaboration: please use

2) National clinical guideline: I will upload the item that I chose 3)Peer reviewed professional journal articles of research studies obtained through CINAHL: I will

items. please COMPARE and CONTRAST the information you discovered (which are those 5 items that I will upload later) with your protocol. you may use a chart to present
your findings if so desired.
