conduct аn oral historу interview. Based on this interview, write up an assessment of the interview and critically discuss the response based on readings from the
course text. This assignment will include both an in depth summary of the consumer culture of an historical moment along with a critical analysis expanding on some of
the key concepts we have explored in the course. (Approximately 1200 words).

The purpose of this assignment is to explore a specific historical moment (before 1990), and how consumption, advertising, and the media culture were different, or the
same, as today.
