Historical context of John Donne’s poem “Love’s Growth”

Write an 8-10 page (double-spaced) research paper placing your poem in historical
context- Your paper should identify and intervene in a controversy or discussion
illustrated by the texts in your List of Works Cited. Your paper must:

-Have a well-stated thesis in the introductory paragraph.

-Have tightly focused and logically developed paragraphs

-Make effective use of concrete evidence from the texts using MLA Style.

Criteria;

-Argument: Your introduction should have a coherent and debatable thesis statement
placing your poem in historical context. You paper should then pusue this argument
clearly and methodically.

-Structure & Organization: Your paper should be logically organized into clearly
focused and developed paragraphs with effective transitions between them. You are
encouraged, but not required, to use titled subsections.

-Use of Sources: paper should make effective use of primary and secondary
sources as evidence for your argument. You must make use of at least 5 scholarly
secondary sources.

-MLA Style:Your sowces should be cited according to MLA Style using in-text citations
and a List of Works Cited. Each error counts as one point
