1-Pick a population with special needs; follow them over the course of a lifetime: what HC is available, what are options for paying, outcomes? (example, diabetic
homeless; HIV-infected, immigrants, children from low income families).

2-I’m also fascinated by home health aides. How has the job changed as a result of the ACA? What are the opportunities in the field? How many placement agencies exist;
Have accidents occurred? What is the malpractice insurance like? Describe the average health care worker.

3-The repeal/replace ACA did not come up for vote. How have the individual state marketplaces reacted? How many people paid an insurance penalty this year? What do you
predict will happen over the course of Trump’s presidency and why?

4-A research project on the NYC DoH or NY State Health Department – summary of a program (flu vaccine, childhood immunizations, STI screenings, needle exchange) and
describe access, discrepancies, changes over time…
