Assignment requirement:
The purpose of this assessment is examining your ability to apply theories, frameworks, and practices via analyzing a film. You are required to examine diversity,
inclusion and equality dynamics by integrating relevant theories, frameworks and practices and examples/scenarios in a film. You need to watch the film:
• The Devil Wears Prada
After watching the film, you are required to write an analysis (2500 words), which should address the following (some or all if applicable) questions:
• How are diversity, inclusion, and equality represented in the film?
• How do you see social identities (e.g., gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, etc) enacted in the field?
• What diversity theories/frameworks/practices are presented in the film and implications for the workplace?
• What are the key learnings about diversity, inclusion, and equality from the film?
