Training Communication Plan – Part of Larger Paper

This essay is part of a series that will be integrated later into 1 research paper. The subject of this research paper is introducing a training program into Walmart that involves upgrading the
current RFID system utilized for inventory management practices, which essentially requires new RFID readers to assist forecasting models in reducing stock-outs (running out of merchandise) and
labor hours designated to correcting inventory mistakes; this training program would only be instituted at 3 Walmart locations and after 1 year, the results would be reviewed to determine if the
training should be implemented organizational-wide.

-Gap analysis (Identifies the gap in Walmart reaching their fiscal goals)
-Technology Adoption Proposal (Identification and support of new technology)
-Learning Project Plan (Simplified WBS that identifies how the training would be conducted)
-Evaluation Plan (Utilizing Kirkpatrick’s Model, explained how the training would be evaluated)

**What needs to be written – Communication Plan**
Create a 2-3 page essay that addresses a plan for communicating the RFID technology adoption to the employees of Walmart (this is planning ahead and assuming that the technology will be implemented
throughout Walmart).

-Identify the sender(s), channel(s) and receiver(s) of the message.
-Create the message (include all details necessary for the employees to fully understand the rationale for the adoption of the new technology, which involves including materials from the adoption
proposal, project plan, and evaluation plan.
-Describe in detail how the message will be delivered.
-Describe in detail any follow-up communication that will occur after the initial message is delivered and how exactly this will be done.
-Include any tools, techniques, visuals, and/or presentation materials that will be used in the delivery of the message(s).
