In many ways, the story of Andrew Jackson (his initial loss and his eventual rise to become president) offer a look at many of the challenges that have existed for a
long time in America. The battle between populism and establishmentarianism is one example. Identify some examples of the challenges and how his story brings them to
light and tell me what they mean in the greater context of American history (i.e. what precedent did they set, what consequences did they have).
