Prompt #2:

The goal of this writing prompt is to bring together the elements of research that you have gathered in your field journal and to create a research paper that takes a stand for an issue that has been raised through your research. Your inquiries into your species: how it’s represented, the issues it faces, the misunderstandings or romanticism of it, should all feed into this final project. This is, ultimately, an inquiry into the “single story” of Lancaster County, Lincoln, NE. Figure out what that single story is. This is not an easy assignment and you are more than welcome to use metaphor, story, and the like to explore it all.
