I believe that the right to die is ethical because competent people should have the right to choose death, physician assisted suicide is a compassionate response to unbearable suffering, and many
laws include safeguards such as waiting periods, family notification, and input from multiple physicians.
Above is my thesis statement which has already been approved. Below are the criteria for the paper:
Research Paper with Thesis Statement – Each student will write a research paper on a topic either discussed in class, or covered in the Reading Assignments. The paper must have a main thesis
statement.

o Must be 6-8 pages; 12-point font, Times New Roman; double spaced
o Must have title page and a References page (Works Cited or bibliography).
o Must have at least 5 sources. Use APA style for citations (in-text parenthetical documentation).
? Type of sources: I ONLY accept books (including ebooks) or journal articles as sources. The journal articles need to be published from peer-reviewed journals, NOT newspapers, websites, magazines,
notes, etc.
