In recent years the economic downturn, recession, the global banking crisis, political and social unrest in some regions have an impact on organisations of all shapes and sizes on a global scale. This has resulted in organisations having to assess their business strategy and make changes as necessary in order to survive, let alone grow and prosper.
You are work as a strategic planner for an organisation of your choice. The board of directors have asked you to carry out a strategic review of the organisation for the globalization and to provide a report that assesses its overall strategic capability and approach towards the right strategic option.

Tasks:
Select a company of your choice through the case base approach and undertake the following tasks:
1. A strategic analysis of the organization (750 Words) a. Environmental analysis b. Resources and competence analysis c. An indication of business level strategy and corporate strategy d. Give a synopsis of the company’s strategic situation in a way which is meaningful for the strategic choices it is able to make for the future

2. Critically analyse the strategic choices available for the expansion through internationalization (500 words)
3. Propose a suitable structure for a strategy plan that ensures achievement of strategic objectives and write strategy plan ensuring you include the resource implications. (750 words)
4. Evaluate the place of strategic control through development of strategy implementation plan and design appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems for the strategy plan (1000 words).
