The name of the escapee is Richard Mcnair. He escaped from prison and when he was stopped by an officer he ticked the officer into thinking he was a jogger. This happens in Louisiana. Mcnair was pretending to be jogging when he was stopped by the officer. He gave his names as Robert Jones and said he was 50years old. He claimed he was working on roofing a house. He explained the scratches were because he worked in shorts. The temperature at the time was 113°F. He was asked to remove the gloves for the officer to check for tattoos. The officer assumed he was innocent. If it was an African American he would have been arrested and harassed.

True Colors:
These events happen in St. Louis Missouri. One of the two professional testers is a white while the other is a black. The celebrity who oversees the testing is Diane Sawyer of ABC’s Prime Time. On average African Americans pay twice the mark up that white pay for cars which adds up to fifteen million annually. Some of the areas of life in which the testers uncover discriminatory practices are in selling of clothes, car dealerships, police treatment, employment and housing. The experts explain the actions of the African America sales person by pointing out that sales persons have being taught to treat white and blacks differently. The taxi experiment was done in New York.
