There is an ongoing debate in the US, especially at this time of layoffs, about the size of executive compensation. More, specifically, it is argued that CEO compensation (salaries, bonuses, and shared held) is out of bounds, and not in keeping with a) the profitability of the corporation; or b) the salary level of the average employee in that corporation. Do you agree with this assessment?
