Studied abroad in London last summer and need to do a 12-page paper regarding something involving the culture of London. The “Globe” interested me.
This is from the professor: “Globe is a great subject, but it’s also a big one. A possible way to go is to recover the lead-up to the Globe (seeing if you can locate any contentious issues around the decision to build) and the immediate reception. It would be difficult to talk about ‘impact’ more generally.”

Basically, write a 12-page paper on the lead-up to opening Shakespeare’s Globe (possibly contentious issues around the decision to build it) and people’s immediate reception of the Globe.
