Second Language Acquisition (How language learned):

This part should include 2 long paragraphs. First you (The writer) need to talk about how language learners acquire the language or the second language in details.
Start with a good topic sentence that explains what are you going to focus on in the following paragraph. Please start with Spolsky, B. (1989). Conditions for second
language learning. New York, NY: Oxford University Press. In this article, focus on the part that talk about HOW LANGUAGE IS LEARNED and explain how Spolsky found that
Kf= M+A+Kp+ O. Also, this article: (Egbert, J. (2016). Engagement and practice in classroom learning, language, and technology. IATEFL conference selection 2015) has a
part where it talks about how language is learned and it explains This model Kf= M+A+Kp+ O in details. Then, from there you said (Second language acquisition
principles research and language learning research says that these O stands for (opportunities) could be: Comprehensible input, comprehensible output, Social
interaction/communication, and Noticing and then cite many researches saying that (Krashem,1982 and others��at least five, six authors in one citation). After that
you move down to explain each one of the principles that were listed above.
1- Comprehensible input:
You start this first principle with a general idea (Topic sentence) for example: A critical concept for second-language development for students� language learning is
comprehensible input. comprehensible input refers to . Give definition to this principle and who introduced it (Krashen for example) . Also, give specific details
explaining what is comprehensible input. You have to cite the seminal research articles for this principle like Krashen i+1, Romney, Braun, Feitelson,
Csikszentmihalyi, and others talking about comprehensible input theory. Your citation must be professional. For example, you have to read different and many seminal
articles talking about COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT and then write a summary of all of them especially the ones they are alike in result and then cite all the authors for
those articles. For example, One of the important principles for SLA research is noticing which is a cognitive process in second language learning (Schmidt and Frota
1986; Alanen 1995; Ellis 1996; Ellis and Sinclair 1996; Ellis and Schmidt 1997; Grabe and Stoller 1997; Leeow 1997; Miyake Friedman 1998; Rosa and O�Neill 1999; Mackey
2002; Swain and Lapkin 2002). You have to be able to cite many researchers after one or two long sentences as shown in the previous example. You should not use any of
the examples I provided you with in this paper because they are only examples, they are not accurate. This introduction, definition, and extra explanation about
comprehensible theory should be written in two long paragraphs just explaining the idea of comprehensible input and researchers who introduced the idea of
comprehensible input and what did they found from their research.
Then you have to find more recent articles starting from 2000 to 2016 and focusing on the ones that found this theory important and effective for language learners.
Then you have to summarize each of those recent studies in 3 or maximum 4 sentences. For example, A study titled �Captioned Television as Comprehensible Input: Effects
of Incidental Word Learning from Context for Language Minority Students �and done by Neuman & Koskinen (1992) investigated whether comprehensible input in the form of
captioned television might affect bilingual students �acquisition of vocabulary and conceptual knowledge. Participants were 129 bilingual seventh and eighth grades from
Southeast and assigned for four groups: captioned TV, TV, reading along and listening, and text book only. This study shows that captioned television affects the
language learners� acquisition in a positive way by providing them with a particularly rich language environment which allow the language learners to learn words
incidentally via context (Neuman and Koskinen, 1992). Another study shows that ��..
So, you have to summarize each study in an accurate way mentioning the study title, year and author (s). You have to write the participants nationality and numbers or
sizes. You have to write what methodology the author (s) used to do that study and how he/she did that study(process). And finally, you have to write the result of
that study which should be something saying that Comprehensible input is effective for language learners. This part should be done in two long paragraphs. Each of
these two paragraphs should include at least 5-10 recent studies. So, total of four long paragraphs in this first principle (Comprehensible Input).

2- Comprehensible output:

This should include four long paragraphs as well: two long paragraphs to introduce the theory and define the theory and explain the theory in depth and cite all the
researchers who introduced this theory. The other two long paragraphs should include recent studies showing that Comprehensible output is an effective for language
learners. Just follow the outline I created for COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT and follow it exactly as it is. Example of the people who introduced COMPREHENSIBLE OUTPUT
include: Swain, Gass, Schmidt & Frota, Swain and Lapkin, and others that you should find.

3- Social interaction and communication:

Follow the same outline I created for COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT and OUTPUT. Examples of researchers who introduced This principle are: Pica, Doughty, Gass, Long, Ellis,
Gaies, Gass & Varonis, and others you should look for them.

4- Noticing:

Follow the same outline I created for COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT. Find researchers introduced this principle.

SECOND SECTION

Topic of this second Section: Link Between Second Language Acquisition Principles and Use of Technology.

Only one introduction paragraph should be written under this section. In this section you (the writer is going to write general sentence as a topic sentence then
moving to more specific sentences e.g. In recent years, technology has been used to assist, enhance, and provide opportunities for language learners. Many teachers
have tried to incorporate various forms of technology to support their teaching and to meet the students� interest in using specific kind of technology and therefore to
engage the students in the language learning process. Do not forget to cite anything you write because this is a literature review. Everything you write you have to
cite from the literature. Then, you conclude this introduction paragraph with something like: Research shows that there is a connection or link between SLA principles
and the use of technology (Cite the research that said so).

1- Comprehensible input and the use of Technology:

Under this section, you have to find article talking about how the use of technology support the language learners comprehensible input (through listening, reading via
technology especially web 2.0 kind of technology). Find many research focusing on one kind of technology and then synthesize those articles in one or two sentences and
at the end of this one or two sentences cite all of the authors who said the same thing about this use of technology and how it was effective for language learners�
comprehension input. Then find other studies that focus on other kind of technology to support comprehensible input theory synthesize them and then cite all the
researchers��..etc.
Write about two long paragraphs to explain the studies that shows the positive and effective link and the connection between the use of technology and comprehensible
input theory.

2- Comprehensible output and the use of technology:

You start with a topic sentence so the reader could understand what this paragraph is about. Then you will follow the same instructions I wrote earlier in the previous
section about comprehensible input and the use of technology. Also two long Paragraphs in this section.
3- Social interaction/ Communication and the use of technology:

Please make sure that you are using your own words (paraphrasing) everything except the definitions maybe you can quote them and give the page number for citation.
Otherwise, do not plagiarism. Please make sure you are using APA style correctly. You have to paraphrase all the sentences you are taking from any article or research
paper and then cite all of those paraphrased sentences by writing (last name, first name,. year) for the in-text citation and at the end of each sentences. If you have
two or three quotes in each section then that�s fine but the citation is different (last name, first name; year, page number) for in-text citation. You have to check
APA citation because I am not sure.

You cannot have one paragraph or one section talking about one article or one author. You should be able to have one paragraph/section with two, three, four, five,
six, seven, eight, nine, and more different articles and different authors as well. Please make sure you have both seminal (1997,1998,1992,1990 which initiate the
theory and recent articles 2008-2016). we are not summarizing articles we are trying to make connections between different articles by synthesizing them and then cite
many and different authors saying the same thing.
You have to finish the paper within the given time and try to finish earlier so I can read and check and then send you any problems or mistakes appear in the text.

Please write all the research paper you will use to write this Literature Review in the REFERENCES PAGE at the end of the paper in an alphabetical order.
