Number and Types of Sources: One: relatively current scholarly article.

Identify a current, scholarly article related to THE BOOK: Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us (2009), PART 1: (A NEW OPERATING SYSTEM). part 1 has 4 CHAPTERS: ( CHAPTER 1:THE RISE AND FALL OF MOTIVATION, CHAPTER 2: SEVEN REASONS CARROTS AND STICKS (OFTEN) DON’T WORK, CHAPTER 2A: AND THE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WHEN THEY DO, AND CHAPTER 3: TYPE I AND TYPE X). Write two short pieces intended for different readerships. In one piece, write about the article for a popular blog in a way that really tries to “sell” it; make the article seem exciting or important, and use whatever strategies are useful, short of outright lying. In the second piece, write about the article for an “intellectual” blog in a way that more cautiously conveys its content. You’ll want people to think that the article is worth their while to read, but you’ll want to be measured about it.
