• Identify a piece of research from the field of applied linguistics that has made use of the research style and discuss (a) the actual application of this research style, and (b) how appropriate the selection of research style was. [Here, your discussion should also suggest one other research style could be employed to carry out this research, how the alternative approach would be implemented, and discuss which is most appropriate and why.]
