This report will focus on four things – Summary, Goals, Plans, and Results.
The focus of this report is to explain your company’s HR performance for the last year. You will need to explain the change in the performance measures from Quarter 0 to Quarter 4.
General Instructions
The final written report needs to address the following items.
1.Summary – This narrative should be an overview of the condition of the company as of Quarter 0. It will provide the justification for the next section.
2.Goals – What were your goal(s) for your HR department for Year 1 of this simulation? Do not state the individual quarterly goals.
3.Plans – What were your plans to meet these annual goals? Do not state the individual quarterly plans.
4.Results, Narrative – Explain in detail the changes in all of the performance measures since Quarter 0. Upper management should have enough detail to know exactly what was spent to achieve each individual change in performance measures. Organizationally, there should be a separate paragraph for each performance measure. Uses comparative narrative to clearly explain the variance of all performance metrics across multiple time periods. States actual dollars expended to achieve results.
5.Result, Tables/Graphs – There should be supporting tables and graphs to show visually the changes in the performance measures since Quarter 0. Uses both comparative tables and graphs to explain variance of all performance metrics across multiple time periods. Uses appropriate trend tables and graphs to explain variances
