1) Using information from the US Census, you text book and other relevant souces,
outline the demographic characteristics of the ethnic group- 2) Discuss the curent
economic conditions of the group- 3) Find out whether the group do experience any
forms of discrimination, prejudice and racism in American society- 4) If they have not
faced any of these negative experiences can you explain why you feel they have been
immune to them? 5) What do you see are the disadvantages and disadvantages in the
United States of being a member of this ethnic group? 6) Think about the theoretical
frameworks discussed in this couse-Assimilation and Power Conflict perspectives
use ONE of these to analyze the situation of the ethnic group-
