Rubric: 1. Conduct review of literature. Include what databases and strategies were used to find your articles. Select 2 pertinent research articles from peer-reviewed joumals published within the past 5 years. Why did you select these articles? Why did you reject articles?
2. Summarize and critique each article. Your first paragraph for each article should include the type of research, level of evidence, and most important finding.
3. Perform a brief appraisal/critique of methodology, sample, threats to validity, and limitations of the study for each article
4. Summarize and synthesize your findings -identify and discuss how the results of each study (compare and contrast the findings) will help you in caring for your patients or improving the quality of care in your work unit. 5. Apply the Evidence Make logical, feasible recommendations supported by the evidence you critiqued. Be specific! Make a compelling argument for your recommendations. Don’t forget to cite the evidence for the recommendations.
