ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Review the attached video which is a mock interview of a complainant of a theft crime. You should take notes of the facts and circumstances
provided by the complainant, Jesse, allowing you to thoroughly complete a police report. The police report format is attached here: week 1 police report.doc (this
will open in a separate window).

Download the attached sample police report document, and complete it based on the reported crime. If infÕÉ≠†Њ†ormation is unknown in your case (for example, and
unknown offender), simply relate that on your report. Ensure your report is factual, thorough, concise, objective, and accurate. You can read about report writing in
your text on pages 37-42. Initial complaint reports are specifically discussed on pages 40-42.
