1. Choose a patient from one of your clinical placements- Discuss how you have used or seen communication theories used with this patient. Did the patient have any barriers to communication like
anxiety, hearing loss, confusion etc. Did you see communication techniques that worked and those that did not.

How did you demonstrate respect, empathy and dignity with this patient and what are these concepts. (800 words)

 

 

2. In the second part of this assignment, you will focus on two problems that you have identified that will affect your patient (not communication as this has already been covered). This can be the
same patient as part one or another patient you have helped to look after under the supervision of your mentor.
