Pine needle abortion in cattle
Order Description
Hello,
This order was placed for “ dissertation” however I am requesting three chapters of the dissertation. This is a four-part order to include dissertation literature review (20 pages), dissertation abstract (1 page), dissertation general introduction (4 pages), and dissertation general conclusions (5 pages). More specifically, portions of the dissertation have been completed and are therefore included in an attachment. Additionally, an organization chart has been included (MS Excel file). The MS excel attachment provides further details SPECIFICALLY for the Literature Review. Other MS Word attachments are my contributions to other chapters and a literature review (to aid the writing to create proper abstract, introduction, and conclusions (as well as avoid duplication of work in the rest of the literature review).
For the literature review:
Please provide a literature review of the stated topic pine needle abortion and subtopics toxic principle, dose response, NOAEL, LOAEL, range management for cattle, and non-target (non-bovine) species effects. Please focus on each independent subtopic in the body of the manuscript without general introduction or general conclusion.
The subtopics may read like separate papers….they should be heavy on facts (i.e. results of prior experiments with author citations). The provided MS Excel file entitled “Citations A-Z” has topics highlighted in red listed along the top of columns which correspond with manuscripts listed along the left hand side of rows. Articles of highest interest are highlighted in red while lesser contributing points are highlighted in light red. Required citations are listed in a column on the left hand side entied “citation required”. Please cite every one of these articles appropriately. There are about four duplicates…don’t worry just find every article (about 45 and follow the directions below).
Additional supplemental topics are not highlighted. These topics by article are listed only for reference if additional reading is required to further develop a main point. DO NOT include these in the body of the manuscript. Again, cite all the required articles and not the others. The key topics are all highlighted in red. Please note that additional reading may be necessary to understand certain principles of toxicology to further discussion. Additional textbooks (Cassarett and Doull’s Principles of Toxicology 8th edition) or (Fundamentals of toxicologic pathology) or internet sources may be helpful to understand definitions in plain text for the following: no observed adverse effect limit (NOAEL), no observed effect level (NOEL), lowest observed adverse effect level (LOAEL), dose response relationships, extract, dose response, causative agent / toxic principle / toxic principles, and/or endocrine disruption. In this case, endocrine disruption really focusses only on disruption of the estrous cycle.
This is how I want my paper written to reflect my style. I have a preferred method for building this manuscript quickly; however you are welcome to use your methods. My preferred method is listed here. 1) Copy and paste all abstracts and discussions (with citation) from the key manuscripts (highlighted in red in the provided MS Excel file “Citations A-Z”) in a hierarchial manner to build your discussion. 2) Paraphrase each authors main points (generally about 20-40% of their paper). 3) Use the authors discussions to guide retrieval of key data from the results (using citations corresponding to the appropriate article and ENSURING accurate citation). 4) compare and contrast the authors’ key points and supporting data both a) within the paragraph and transitions and b) within additional original paragraphs really emphasizing the differences in data. 5) Within your discussion, follow up with a strong consensus statement to blend the idea from multiple authors (and really bring the data back together as your own interpretation). 6) Add a figure or two to back up your main points, rationale, and justifications. 7) Within your discussion, go a step farther to really parse out the nuances (tree species differences, differences in natural intoxication vs experimental, differences in building proper experiments to control multiple factors, covariance of all unknown factors) and context (such as date of publication or differences in methods, route of administration, bioavailability of compounds, etc). 8) Toss in a few citations to support any critique of other authors statements and data – these are especially keen when critiquing data that is decades old since they did not have access to improved resources and new information on the subject.
I recommend borrowing a few figures at the end (beyond the stated number of required text/page numbers) to provide further understanding of points discussed and referred in the article. Refer to figures and tables as needed. I would be happy with as many as you want to add. Just cut and paste. Add a figure label +/- figure legend.
I am looking forward to reading the final paper you create!!
