In a 2000-3000 word paper (or roughly 5-7 pages, Times New Roman, double spaced, one inch margins each side,) you will address a recent article from a contemporary Philosophy Journal about Aesthetics or Philosophy of Art in order to both critique and develop a positive thesis about it. Some names of this sort of journals are: Contemporary Aesthetics, Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, British Journal of Aesthetics. This will require you to use the online feature of the Murphy Library, but don’t worry; they have help available via chat or email.
