Analyze your place of work or an organization with which you are
familiar. The project will consist of two parts, an analysis paper and a presentation.
Part 1:
The first step in completing this project is to analyze how employee behavior influences the
effectiveness of the chosen organization by providing examples of when employee behavior has
assisted and hindered goal obtainment in the organization.
The second step is to compare approaches that can be used within the organization to motivate
employees to meet organizational goals. If you are currently unemployed or you are
uncomfortable in discussing your current employer, you can utilize another organization with
which you are familiar, such as a nonprofit, religious, or volunteer agency.
Present the analyses you conducted in steps one and two in an essay of approximately 10-12
pages.
