As history majors, it is important that you develop the ability to research and write effectively. Therefore, you will write a 10-12 page
research paper in which you choose a relevant topic, approved by the professor, and present your research in a professional, fully-
documented paper. This paper must be in 12-point font, double-spaced, and include a bibliography and full citations in Turabian/Chicago
Manual of Style format. The paper will constitute 50% of your overall grade.
