This assignment has two parts:

Part A: Preparing Financial Statements (50 Marks)

Part 8: Understanding Actual Financial statements. (50 Marks)

Part A must be answered in excel template (uploaded in Learnline)

Part 8 must be answered in word format . Please be concise in your answer.

Once you have completed the assignment. it needs to be uploaded using the submission point for the
assignment on the Assessments section of Learnline. You will upload both excel sheet and word

document.

Assignments submitted via e-mail will NOT be accepted.

There is no need to complete a university cover sheet but DO please include a title page in your document
that states your Student Name. Student Number. and your tutor’s name.

Do not include the actual question in your submitted assignment: only include your answer to the questions.
You will be graded on the following criteria:

Accuracy

0 Content

0 Correct account names etc.

0 Correct values

Presentation

0 Accounting protocols (debits first. chronological order etc.)

0 Financial statement structure

0 Spelling
