Statistics anxiety and low stats/math self-efficacy in adult nursing students causes students to choose other majors or drop out of the program which exacerbates the current nursing shortage. An
intervention using team-based and collaborative learning is being designed to decrease student anxiety and increase course performance, hopefully to ultimately help keep people in the program
longer.
