Order Description
Assignment details: Stop using all electronic screens (laptops, cellphones, ipads, TV, etc.) 1 hour before bedtime at night. Make note each morning how you slept. Do you feel better/more rested?
Also, was it hard for you to stop using the screen each night 1 hour before sleeping? Why/why not? On Monday, 11/28, you will submit a one-to-two paragraph reflection (submit to BB under
“Assignments”–Extra Credit Assignment by 11/28, 11:59pm). In your written reflection, please answer the following: What screens did you give up? (TV, cellphones, etc.) Was it difficult for you?
Why/why not? Did you feel better or sleep better? Did you get more/less done in the hour before bedtime? Reflect on if this experiment taught you anything about your screentime use and your sleep
cycles.
This screen/sleep experiment should last 5 consecutive nights, so please start this experiment no later than Wed. 11/23. Plan accordingly.
