PROCEDURE: I don’t need detailed procedure just site the book and the lab name also the pages and the author name.(name of the book is A Small Scale Approach to Organic Laboratory Techniques, authors Donald and Lampman,lab is Isolation of Eugenol from Cloves pg. 95-101.
RESULTS: In this section all the data is collected and presented. Data includes, but is not limited to melting points, yields, spectroscopic details, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) reproductions, and colors of substances. (10 pts)
ANALYSIS: In this section the results are analyzed. Low yields should be explained in this section as well as other unexpected results (low or high melting point etc.). The results as they pertain to the reaction (e.g. mechanism) should be discussed. A detailed and thorough discussion about the results should also be addressed here. (10 pts)
CONCLUSION: In this section a conclusion about the laboratory is reached, primarily what has been learned and what has been accomplished. (10 pts)
