1. Demonstrate principles and techniques of advanced legal research in a global context;

2. Research in detail and critically analyse the complexity and efficacy of International Sales Law

in regulating international business transactions;

3. Identify, locate and retrieve source legal materials in International Sales Law both in paper

and electronic form;

4. Apply legal knowledge to a practical situation and draw reasoned conclusions supported by legal

authority;

5. Demonstrate advanced legal skills (e.g. critical analysis) necessary to enable the student to

reach a superior understanding of International Sales Law, even if not previously studied at

undergraduate level.

6. Acquire techniques of legal research and enquiry that are necessary to create and develop

advanced knowledge and practise in the subject area;

7. Engage in complex legal debate, both written and oral, and present substantive information and

opinions in a structured, accurate and compelling manner;

8. Develop time management and prioritisation skills by working to deadlines;

9. Develop individual and group communication skills through seminar and group work presentations.
