Assignment 2
1. Create a set of instructions on how to write an incident report. Use at least six steps
and detail what each step should cover (see Module Seven on Researching and

2. Recently you were interviewed for an internship at a company you would really like to work for. The interview went well and you are hopeful that you will be accepted. However, you decide to “Go the extra mile.” Write a thank-you letter to Mrs. Brownlee, the interviewer, in an appropriate letter format. (15 marks)
3. At the start of January 2014, Acme Products Limited agreed to sponsor (pay for) your Business Communication course, with the understanding that, if you did well in it, they would consider hiring you for a summer position in their Public Relations Department. You are now approximately at the half-way point of the course, and Ronald Derrin, Assistant to the Director, has asked for a progress report. Using your experience in this Business Communication course you are now completing with Laurentian, create the report; use memo format. Think carefully about the correct structure and content of a progress report. (20 marks)
