Choose an organisation (or unit or department or even work team or whole industry) with which you are familiar (it can be an organization you work for or have worked for in the past, an organization someone else you know works for, or an organization you are very familiar with from the media) that has gone through change or is undergoing change. Using knowledge gained from this course: (1) critically describe and evaluate the change process and its outcome; (2) consider and comment on any leadership/motivation issues that relate to that change; (3) explore how knowledge of theory of change management and leadership might have improved/improve the process and the outcome of that change for the organization.
Assessment Criteria:
Comprehensive description of the organization/unit/department
Comprehensive description of the Change (systems involved, reason, initiator, processes, outcomes, parties involved and affected)
Comprehensive description of any relevant leadership issues
Appropriate choice of theories or scientific facts to account for the change process and outcomes
Quality of reasoning and argumentation
Appropriate connections between the case and what was covered in the course.
Evidence of reading and search behind what was covered in the course will also be valued and rewarded
