With reference to either race, gender or an intersection of both, discuss the history of
IHRM and the extent to which IHRM practice and regulation have changed or
remained the same since the middle of the 19th century. In which ways do
contemporary IHRM practices mirror those of earlier forms of management? In which
ways do they differ? In your answers to these questions, make reference to
examples from one specific country context.
