Strength training exercises, using resistance bands or weights, can help build lean muscle mass and boost metabolism. The American Diabetes Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week, along with two or more days of strength training.
To gain cooperation from clients, I would emphasize the positive impact of exercise on diabetes management, including improved glycemic control, weight management, and increased energy levels. I would work closely with clients to develop an exercise plan that suits their abilities, preferences, and lifestyle.
