(i) what are the limits to government’s ability to act? In particular, relate this to the key issues and themes considered in this module, e.g. sustainable development, globalisation, equality issues, etc. (government not do well)

(ii) are business more capable than government to address some of these issues? Provide evidence in support of your view.(what can business do better than government )

(iii) even if business are more capable than government to address some of these issues is it their responsibility to do so? This is the issue raised throughout the module about the duties of businesses and their managers, e.g. Milton Friedman’s argument that the sole responsibility of managers is to make profit for shareholders.
