Topic – Write a paper that addresses how some component of BUSINESS 101 in the textbook(MBusiness by Ferrell, Hirt & Ferrell) will impact the career for
which you are studying at Trident Technical College.

For example. if your Major is “Management” and your Career Path is “Human Resources.” you might write a paper about Recruiting and Selection strategies
that Managers practice (Chapter Ten-) Or. if your Major is “General Business” and your Career Path is “Small Business Entrepreneurship.” you might write a
paper about how Marketing Skills are critical to providing excellent Customer Service (Chapter Eleven.)

If you are not a Business Technology Major. you may write a paper about how some component of BUSINESS in the textbook will impact the career you plan
to pursue. For example. if you are a Nursing Student. you may write about how Teamwork and Communication will be important as a Nurse (Chapter Seven.)
The Rubric for grading this paper has two components. Half of your grade will be based on your CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS. The other half of your grade
will be based on STRUCTURE. which includes grammar. mechanics. style. usage. and spelling.
