You are to read ONE of the texts listed earlier in this booklet. You have three to choose from. You are to write a paper in response to the book you have chosen as follows:
1. IDENTIFY THE KEY THEMES. In this section you are to examine the text for TWO (2), THREE (3) or FOUR (4) themes that you thought were important and thought-provoking in the text. You only need to describe these themes, the arguments presented by the author and quote from the book to illustrate your understanding. BE CAREFUL TO REFERENCE CORRECTLY WRITE IN AN ACADEMIC STYLE. Allow about 500 words.
2. DO AN ANALYSIS. In this section you are to reflect on the themes in the first section and write an analysis asking whether the author is right or not. Here you are to cite other authors and Scripture to illustrate your assessment about whether the themes advocated by the author and identified by you as true and relevant. BE CAREFUL TO REFERENCE CORRECTLY AND WRITE IN AN ACADEMIC STYLE. Allow about 500 words.

3. REFLECTION. In this section, you are to discuss the effect of the authors writing on you personally. There is no need to cite other sources in this section and you may write in the first person.
