A. Using Gravity or Captain Phillips as your primary text, address the following:

B. Using the film you chose for the last two weeks assignments (Silver Linings Playbook or Chronicle and Star Trek or Reversal of Fortune. Note: if you choose Star Trek or Reversal of Fortune, you must also choose one of the other films, if you don’t choose Start Trek or Reversal of Fortune only select one of the other films), address the following:

1. What film did you choose and why?

2. Using select concepts and principles addressed in Ch. 11 of your text (meanings and influences specifically), and the suggestions and guidelines from Ch. 12 of your text. Write a brief analysis of the film. Be sure you begin with an explicit claim as to the meaning of the film for you. Provide clear support and research. Your text will not be enough of a resource to support this post, so outside research is required. If there is not outside research in your post, you will not receive credit for completing the post. Be sure to use in-text referencing and a “references page” at the end of your post.
