Everything is a Remix: compares two texts (an original text and its remix)

Order Description
For Essay Two, you will write a 4-5 page essay (1000-1500 words) that compares two texts (an original text and its remix) in order to answer the following questions:

How and/or why is this new iteration different from the original?
What is the significance of this difference? In other words, how does this difference change your interpretation of the original?
To answer these questions, you’ll need to consider the context for the original piece and the context for the remix, which means you will need to conduct primary and
secondary research. You are required to use at least two primary source and three secondary sources. Go to this page for help on MLA and in-text citations.

We will conduct conferences, peer reviews, and writing workshops just as we did for Essay One. You’re encouraged to meet with me early on in the writing process to
help clarify and focus ideas.

The following list provides some possible remix options to consider. It is not exhaustive. You’re welcome to come up with another remix to discuss if it is not listed
here. Please keep in mind that you only want to focus on one kind of remix.
