alternatively, what could be done to enhance their development in the future.
Ethical Issues
It must be stressed that trainees will NOT be researching into individual pupils themselves. They will be researching what the school or college does to help, support
and educate pupils with a particular need.
Trainees will need to acknowledge that their study is ethical; which means; that they are doing nothing in their study that isn’t part of the normal teacher’s role in
the classroom. They will also ensure that any notes kept are anonymised so that the school, any pupil or other involved individuals cannot be identified. They will
discuss their planned Case Study with their school mentor as well as their University tutor and will seek the necessary permissions from the school.The subject the
