Your boss is considering upgrading your current information system for a total ERP system. He has asked you to compile a report to identify key challenges and risks and also methodologies and plans
to ensure a smooth implementation with no loss of production and a seamless transition. You must demonstrate your understanding of project management methodology by developing a plan and support
your judgement with sound academic methodologies that are suitably referenced. Critically analyse and evaluate key management challenges and risks, as well as identify relevant success factors that
are associated with the adoption and use of ERP systems. Develop a comprehensive understanding of current project management methodology and provide experience of handling engineering and business
projects

1. The report should include an in depth analysis of success factors, challenges and risks of implementing an ERP system. 30%

In order to fulfil the requirements of the students Personal Development Plan (PDP) students must include a personal reflection on the process of managing their learning on this module. This is to
be included (appendix) at the end of the assignment and to be between 350 and 500 additional words in length
