Explore your own background.As we continue our exploration of cultural awareness, we must all come to understand our own family and history.This is the foundation of our understanding about who we are, and how we view others in the world. There will be several components to this project which will culminate in a portfolio.

1.1.The first part of this project will be a genogram. A genogram is a visual representation of your family (like a family tree)with info about cultures, relationships, conflicts, marriages, divorces, children, religion/spirituality etc

2.2.You will also include photographs about your family members.do not include original photos, only copies. identify who is represented in the photos and how they relate to you.

3.3.Once you have some information about your family and in what culture they originated, you will research that culture and write a paper describing that cultures rituals, traditions, language, clothing, norms, communication styles, art, music etc cite your research appropriately and attach a resource list at the end of your paper.

4.4.Finally, explore how this culture has influenced your family life.You should describe your family, what values your family supports, what makes them laugh, and how your family developed its culture.
