Consider the current statistics on school dropouts, suspensions, and expulsions. Based on the different histories and worldviews of Jewish Americans; African Americans; American Indians; how do you explain their differing successes in our schools today? Which of these experiences do you predict will provide us with a model for immigrant and refugee youth from other countries today? Explain your reasoning.
