Order Description
Use the material covered in this course to design a strong environmental management program that would be helpful for a company that wants to maximize its environmental compliance and ensure public
safety in the workplace.
1. Select a company/industry type
2. Consider the EPA regulations related to hazardous waste such as the Clean Air Act
(CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA and CERCLA, storm water discharges and other regulations applicable to the specific company/industry that you have selected.
3. Provide the names and short descriptions of the policies and associated directives/procedures that the company should implement.
4. Provide a legislative and regulatory action program
5. Provide an internal and external audit/assessment program
6. Some cost analysis to justify savings for the company for fully environmental
compliance
7. Discuss major environmental laws and regulations applicable to the company
Deliverables:
a. Submit a draft outline by 3/24/2017 for the instructor?s approval.
b. A report with an executive summary, introduction, organized sections addressing
the elements of your Environmental Management Program, recommendations, conclusions, and references. Figures and tables should be numbered and have titles. The report should not be less than 8
