Case Brief Summary
Using your favorite web browser, locate and prepare a Case Brief Summary on one of the following cases: MSE 5101, Legal Aspects of Emergency Services Management 5
• Preston v. Tenet Healthsystem Memorial Medical Center Inc., 485 F. 3d 804 (U.S. Ct. App. 2007).
• Leake v. Murphy, 617 S.E. 2d 575 (Ga. Ct. App. 2005).
Prepare your Case Brief Summary to include at least the following:
• the title and citation of the case,
• the facts of the case,
• the questions of law,
• the decision,
• the reasoning,
• opinions, and
• your analysis—including the implications during times of emergencies to the following: the Stafford Act, the National Response Framework (NRF) and the National Indecent Management System (NIMS).
Your paper should be a minimum of two pages in length, not including the title and reference pages. Each of the components should be separated using APA level one headings.
