Write a review of a book you have selected to read for this course. Your review should be 700-1000 words long, and should contain the following elements: a) a summary of the book and b) a discussion and evaluation of the book.

The summary should cover:

? The purpose of the book
? The intended audience
? Significant information about the author

The discussion/evaluation can include:

? Assessment of the book’s strengths and shortcomings
? Problems (if any) with the author’s argument; consideration of counter-arguments
? Evaluation of the data or supporting evidence used in the book
? Assessment of the author’s style and approach to writing the book
? Discussion of the context; where does this book fit in relationship to the literature in its field?
