Please I need introduction for a research paper include the importance of blood transfusion and how is it critical in the medical field and the explain that storage time of the RBC is important and there is no study highlit this point and some of this studies have the limitation because the majority of patients received a combination of old and fresh RBC units and there is no cut-off point to define old from new blood and we want to find the effect of storage time in the mortality rate. also please explain that we will use only one center database which will help to overcome bias by using single center population. you can have a look to the uploaded article use as reference and as sample as well.
